No.

I lost my job in March and I thought my driving would significantly decrease, but no. My mileage has gone up.

On March 31, I decided to get rid of my Buick Century (28 mpg on a good week) and buy a Jeep...(about 18 mpg). I've driven 1700 miles in 22 days. $1.78-$1.95/gallon to fill a 19 gallon tank.

I'm learning that money ISN'T a renewable resource

The tradeoff: I look cooler and younger driving a Jeep Very Happy

What kind of Jeep, Jenn? I just bought a Liberty 4x4, khaki. LOVE IT. Do you like yours?

My sister rented a Jeep Liberty to take on a business trip and loved it as well. Of course, she drives a 1992 Mazda B2200 with 340 000 km on it so there wasn't much of a comparison. They look little though. Can you fit everything you own in them? I like cars you can fit everything you own into.
But then, I don't own much....

Truly, it is, but I highlight mine everyday with a color called "dirt road".

Yeah, for all the complaining we do, we're all sort of full of you know what. The Europeans have been paying 4X the price for gas for a long time, hence their much smaller cars and scooters and public transportation. We're pretty spoiled, and arrogant with our choices.
