the "new" road id's?

Road ID helped sponsor my race. (gave me numbers) and they of course had a bunch of order forms to put in the goodie bags. I noticed they now have wrist and ankle id's availible.

Has anyone tried these? And if so, your thoughts?

Greg and I each have one. It is a
"dog tag" that goes on the shoe that has emergency info on it

For example I have my name, phone number, blood type, asthma
police station phone number and my dads phone number on it

Just in case

Well, I knew about the shoe ones, and I have one of the dog tag necklace ones. They now have added one for the wrist and one for the ankle.

prohemp and I also have military style dog tags, (2 identical sets complete with the silencer to keep them quiet during activity). They were only 7.99. I like having the dog tags, for redunancy. From my experience as an EMS guy, we are trained to look for Medic Alerts on the wrist or neck.

I don't like things that make noise or move around, so I have a wristband (nylon on the outside, terrycloth on the inside) that zips for when I don't have my fuel belt with all my necessary items and info.

I think I would like to get a wrist one. It would be just like wearing a watch. I think I even seen ones that hooked onto your watch somehow.

At the pet store you can get an animal ID tag for $6. I think I'll go there today and make one! Hope I can find a nice pink collar to match! Razz
