This is continually one of my favorite local Atlanta races each year. It is held at the Marcus Jewish Center in Dunwoody. Parking is at the Dekalb College campus one block away. This race is ran as efficiently as the Peachtree Road Race. The door prizes as well the food and goodie bags at the end of the race are excellent. And it's a lot of fun.
8k is just under 5 miles. This particular course is relatively flat. I hear some of the runners talk about a hill around the 3 mile mark. Maybe I'm just used to the hills in Atlanta, but at most there is a slight incline around mile 3 and even that's debatable.
Registration is only $15.00 until May 28.

Isn't June 6th a Sunday?
No can do for me, I've got a duathlon on the 5th. I would like to try an 8K someday though.

I may go for that one GRR. Only about 10 min from my house.
Will be a game day decision though.

Yes, the 6th is a Sunday, but Jews celebrate the Sabbath on Saturday. Good luck on your duathlon.
