She has been quite cranky today and high a fever of 102+. After her bath tonight I found a large absess on her rear end. (She is potty trained so we never saw it before the bath.) She also said her heiney hurt. It is likely a MERSA infection which is what Abby had in her neck and is very serious.
Right before Robin left with the hospital Hannah was  ing, she has never ever done that before.

a staph infection, acquired in the hospital and through contact. Abby got it while her trachestomy was closed, Hannah just got it by being near Abby

make that three for three. Now all of our kids will have been in-patients at CHOP. Hannah is being admitted because her fever wont come down. She is being placed on antibiotics via IV pending the results of her sample from the abcess. She is okay. Robin is with her and the medical staff down there adores her.
Wait until the morning when JJ realizes Hannah is not here. He wanted to stay up until she got home. Before we found out what was wrong with Hannah, JJ kept checking on her and seeing if she was okay.
JJ has a rough enough time with Abby's admissions, wait until he finds out about Hannah's.

Hannah spent overnight in an observation room. This morning the docs decided she needed to be admitted to the general hospital because the infection is spreading and the IV antibiotics are not taking. So when she gets her room, I will take JJ and Abby down. JJ has been worried about her all morning. JJ has picked out the movies that Hannah wants to watch when he goes to see her.
Hannah also is asking for her daddy . Robin told me Hannah keeps saying she wants daddy to hold her. So daddy will come down and save the day and protect his little girl
