My fingers swell pretty bad when I'm walking (not as bad when I run). It usually happens when I walk outside, I haven't noticed it when I walk on the treadmill. It happens whether my hands are down at my side or bent at the elbows.
Ideas as to why, will it go away, or just a general ?

this happens to me too, sometimes so bad that i cant bend my fingers. i think its just all the blood and fluids rushing down to your hands. usually it helps if you do "spirit hands" every few minutes or just keep my hands at about chest level...

Hydrate
It happens to me when I run long too. It may have something to do also with having your hands up higher too. Always wondered about this myself.

Oaster Twin Powers Activated!
Thanks, Guys!
I thought it might have something to do with not enough hydration, since it doesn't happen all the time. I am usually pretty obsessive about being properly hydrated.

Did anyone else see the title as
"Hand Swelling Democrats"
(thankful I'm not the riff-raff mod)

I avoid hand swelling by keeping my hands up around the level of my heart.
