Have you ever dressed up a pet for Halloween?
Theoretically, would this make one "nuts" if they were considering it?

I put pearls on the dog two years ago. I was dressed (or attempted to dress as) Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's. The pearls did not last long on Sierra (dog).
One of my "dogpark" (don't ask!) friends has a Halloween party for the dogs every year. I am supposed to go but I think we have football tix thank god. It gets a little old, becuase she gets mad if you don't dress up.
no, I don't think it's nuts. But I bet after one time you will find it loses it's appeal quickly.

Every year people tie Christmas ribbons on her and she hates it. She hates it even more when the ribbons have jingle bells attached.
Personally I think the tradition is stupid.

Oh my, we did that once. Yellow lab with a tutu around her stomach . She didn't even notice but I feel a little shameful about it.

i have one of those almost bald cats. i'm dressing him as a persian to see how the other half lives.
i couldn't believe the number of pet costumes at the halloween store. i would think dogs would hate being dressed up in something prissy.

Yes, I can't imagine many of them would keep it on very long!
If someone were to theoretically dress their dog up, I think something simple is the way to go.
Sahara: I bet she looked adorable!

It's not a nutty thing to do unless you plan on taking Sahara Trick or Treating in costume as a child of sorts. Yes, that would be nutty.

I just noticed a costume intended for a dog on our dining room table. I had nothing to do with it. I will continue to ignore its presence in the house.
wife gets ideas and expects me to carry them out. I will play dumb on this one.

Next thing you know, you'll be telling us that you baked your pet a birthday cake?
