so far----snickers and milk duds: I don't know where they are at the moment.....hubby says he put them away......sure, in your stomach
kit kat bars---hubby admits he ate them
twizzlers-almost gone
starburst--half way gone
twix--a good start
novelties--still have them. Hubby asked "what are those for?"
hubby developed a HUGE zit the other day.
I will buy candy tomorrow and hide it

When I was carrying the bags in from the car last night, the 3 musketeers bag fell on the floor and somehow opened up. So in the interest of assuring that the candy wasn't damaged, I sacrificed myself and sampled a bar or 4.
Oh the sacrifices we make for our children

trick-or-treat was last night for our community
we gave out: whoppers, nestle crunch, starburst, plain m&m's
I bought 7 bags at about $2 each. None were opened in advanced for the first time in years. Maybe it was the stbx who opened them before.
The kids like getting bags of chips more than getting candy (but won't let me buy chips to give out). The "best" houses give out full size candy bars of kit-kats, according to them. The second best houses give out Huggie drinks...what's with that?

This just came to me in a caffeine haze:
Does the "five second rule" of food consumption after spillage apply to Halloween Candy ? If so, only in the house ? On the road ? Somewhere else ?

I'm sitting on the front porch with the light off and throwing firecrackers at any little heathen that dares to venture into my yard.
