I was Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror for a Homecoming skit for my fraternity. I had my hair curled (back when I had it) leather mini skirt, whole nine yards. We won first place

when i was in middle school my friends and i would color our hair with markers since we werent allowed to dye it...
a few days after i graduated high school, i bleachd my hair... that was a mistake.  i used to naturally very dark hair and the brassy yellow color was quite the change. and the nice stripped look i acheived when i wore my hair in a pony tail was nice too. that whole incident took two years to grow out.

Well...summer of 2001, I had my hair dyed platinum blonde.
Why? At the time, I thought it would be cool to run a marathon as a blonde.
I quickly grew it out, thankfully my hair was short.

I have had my hair every color under the sun. For real! Even white, silver, striped, and once it was red and blue plaid (that took some work). It's been every length from completely shaved to below the butt. It's been straight, it's been curly, it's been teased, it's teased me  , it's been high, it's been low. The strangest was this style I wore intermittently junior & senior year of high school. I had long, high hair that was horribly permed. I had this red felt pimp hat that I would wear, and I'd take all the hair from one side of my head and flip it to the other, then top it off with the hat. It was that here's half my face, I'll hide the other half look. To this day I don't know why I did that or thought it was cool. Oddly enough, the dudes dug it, though.

I never did anything outrageous to it but it was really really long in high school and it's very curly.... can you say Peter Frampton look.... I dread anyone digging out an old yearbook and seeing those old photos...

I've had it shaved - that was different. Then when it got about 3 inches long I died it jet black. Now, those of you that have seen me know I'm blindingly white. It was an interesting effect. This was right before I graduated from college (dumb), so before graduation day I went and tried to have it un-dyed. Six hours later it was somewhat close to my normal blonde.

I've never done anything to my hair. I guess it would take me so long to grow out, that I wouldn't risk wrecking it. It can take years to grow you know? I guess I'm not daring or something.
