Does anyone have a listing of the tags that may "not" be used on the board? For some reason the <.pre></.pre> tag doesn't work. The "pre" tag is just a preformatted text tag, which lets you keep all text in place.

I think there's something under the post window--a checkbox--that allows you to "disable html in this post" -- when you open up a new window. I know I have to do that if I want to use the scroll feature. Try that and see if it helps maybe? I think it's checked by default and you want to uncheck it, I forget. See if that works, individually, I mean. I don't know of a list unless PH has one. He's the head honcho here.

The HTML code is on and the box "isn't" checked under the "Disable HTML in this post" box. I actually wanted to enable it, but it strictly says under the FAQ's section that some HTML tags won't work.
Can I use HTML?
That depends on whether the administrator allows you to; they have complete control over it. If you are allowed to use it, you will probably find only certain tags work. This is a safety feature to prevent people from abusing the board by using tags which may destroy the layout or cause other problems. If HTML is enabled you can disable it on a per post basis from the posting form.
So I guess I was wondering which tags aren't allowed. I'm sure purplehayes would probably know. Thanks for your help!

Ummm you can't use tags that say 75% off unless you mean it. That's bait and switch otherwise.

Here are the tags that are allowed.
b,i,u,pre,sub,sup,table,tr,td,div, marquee, center, s
The "code" tabs in phpbb allow you to do the same thing as the HTML pre tags.
