I'll agree with your long term solutions. But the short terms are out. I would rather us run completely out of oil than destroy the environment for our own greed.
Believe me, if oil ran out we would have a solution very quickly. Something we should have been working on since 1979.
Edited to stay on topic: $2.81 at my local QT; but I saw it at $2.63 at Racetrac last night.
