I paid $3.09 a week ago.
They are predicting we will be pushing $3.50 by Memorial weekend.

I saw it as high as $2.95 this morning. Most stations were around $2.87-$2.89 though.

$3.11 on Sunday. (Just past).
Hey, I expect it to take $30 - + for Larry's Explorer. But I have a smaller fuel-efficient vehicle. I can't wait until the end of season or until we move so I can bike to work (right now I have to go over two bridges and I see people try to pass on the right in the BIKE LANE) at least twice a week. I don't want to get knocked off of a bridge by some fool who should have left the house or hotel 5 minutes earlier.

$3.199 for premium. Reg = $3.099 at wawa. Most gas station are 5-10 cents higher.

Sounds pretty short sighted. Prices are going to continue going up in the long run, are we just going to abandon hope of environmental protection?

I don't know that anyone knows the solution. I think he is exploring options while at the same time trying to provide some temporary relief.
When supply and demand determines price and we are soooo demanding, well, we reap what we sow.
All I know, is that I wish I was an oil heiress.

He's just giving people what they want. You gotta admit there's a whole lot more uproar out there over high gas prices instead of uproar over the shortage of hydrogen stations. 99% of this country is short-sighted in living >25-miles from their job or using cars for every little trip or not willing to change driving habits until the last barrel is pumped out of Arabia. Dubya could be the most progressive energy President we ever had, but people out there couldn't handle it. I'm convinced oil fields have to go dry and the prices have to go toward $10/gal before most of this country would be willing to handle the truth. Face it, people talk, talk, talk, but rarely do they put their feet/pedals/money where their mouth is. Short-sighted is exactly what is being demanded of Dubya.

I agree jrjo, and I think it's sad. You are absolutely correct when saying he's giving people what we want. I've made my stance clear on gasoline several times on this forum, and I'm all for taxing the heck out of it to reduce demand.
Off topic... If I was on my last term in office... I'd be doing things that are good for the people yet people hate. Just enough to get by without impeachment.
