I am still burning mad at something a friend of mine told me. They went to the gym, a little of a newbie they are, and went to lift weights. They're just now starting out--so they were using the 5 pound weights. (On top of the fact that they were sore from several workouts from this past week.

Well, some bimbo comes up and starts haranguing my friend mocking their use of the five pound weights. And not just a one liner, it was on and on and loud and repeated. Absolutely denigrating my friend--totally humiliating them.

I was livid. I told my friend that had I been there I would have KICKED HER BUTT. I am not a fighter but what she specifically said, and how she said it and how loud she said it are never acceptable in any forum, especially to someone you don't even know. burning mad

Does anyone remember the scene in Bringing Down the House in the clubhouse bathroom? That would have been me.

/end vent. Thanks for listening.

I bet that 5 pounder wouldn't have seemed so light if it would've accidently been dropped on bigmouths foot.

LOL Or shoved up her wazoo.

One of the things she ended up asking: "What have you been injured lately or something? Because that's the ONLY reason you would have to use weights that light!"

My friend answered: "Yeah, I was recently in a car accident and I am just now recuperating." The look on her face, I'm told, was priceless.

She just grabbed her sh*t and left the gym quickly.

She sounds like one tread short of a whole treadmill.

Too bad I can't get my 'mean people suck' avatar to work. It would be so appropriate!

I immediately thought of you. I had so wished you had been the gym owner and overheard that. I so wished you could have been there.
