Shady's back!
Waaay back in late 2001, I set a PR for a course I run here at work and up until today, haven't been able to beat it. In fact, for a while, I gave up trying to beat it because it was really disappointing to not be able to topple that record.
I've run faster paces on similar courses and faster paces on shorter courses, but this one route was killing me.
Today I beat it. And I just didn't beat it by a little, I smashed the old record by 1:20!

EDIT :: I ended up shaving another 2 seconds off my time this week for the same route even though I wasn't trying to beat any records.
