I would like to get a list from our local grocery store that has the aisles and what items are on it so I could create a list and not forget anything!! Until then we just write them up each week.

You finally figured out how to do a poll 
When I did the food shopping, I just looked around the freezer and pantry to gauge what I needed. Rarely did I use a list
One item I always bought was toilet paper, 12 pack.

If I go myself, I nearly always make a list. If it's LC and me, we have a list about half the time.

I have a set list, including the sizes and brand names I like, and I print it out and take it with me. I always need the last one, or even two, lists, though, for things they didn't have or I didn't need yet or didn't want.
I have tons of stuff like this for a lot of things... in case anything ever happens to me, then M won't have a problem figuring out how things are run.

allrecipes.com has something like that. You just pick out the recipes that you want to cook and it makes out the shopping list for you.
