Well, its beautiful in Skowhegan ME. Trees are just about ready to turn colors. Weather is going to be in the 60s during the days and 40ish at night.

My 86 year old mom is with me. If it was up to her there would be a mandatory 4 day rest period between gym visits... I can't wait to tell her tomorrow I'm heading for the community pool.

The New Balance factory store is right here next to the factory. If anyone wants me to look at something for them send me a PM.

PS: I need to talk to someone under 70 YO, unfortunately, no house phone and my cell does not work here either. Not to mention no cable just 4.5 broadcast channels. (yes 4.5 'm using rabbit ears). VCR here I come !!!

If you haven't seen Sahara, it's a great movie to watch.

Well, things went very well in Skowhegan, ME - If you saw the HBO miniseries/ movie "Empire Falls" most of it was shot in Skowhegan.

All is pretty good. I'm taking care of mom's meds and bandaging from a leg scrape. Been to the gym 2X already - both times did 60 minutes on the stairclimber (5.5 miles). did about a 6 mile run Saturday noon. Perfect weather for a run, sunny and breezy !! I was misinformed - there is no community pool. Brught my speedo for nothing !1

Managed to get 2 decent football games on the TV. For the life of me I do not see the attraction of Patriots Football...
