Posted: 05/08/04 - 22:04 Post subject: Greetings from Ohio
yes, I am stomping around robp's neighborhood, but unfortunately we can't put a run together. as a matter of fact, I may not get the run I planned for early tomorrow morning, as our travel plans may be changing. I am with about 50 5th and 6th graders that are part of a choir for which I play piano. they were adjudicated this morning, and we earned a 1st place trophy with a "superior" (best) rating. We spent the day at Geauga Lake and I am sunburned. Tomorrow it's to the zoo, and then heading back to PA.
How're y'all doing?

great so far...just finished all my finals less than 2 weeks ago and now I'm off for the summer holidays (though I'm working full time for most of it).

hope your sunburn isn't too bad, Steve. I'm still peeling from the one I got 2 weeks ago.
Good weekend here. I decided Friday morning that I would redo the upstairs bathroom, and I finished yesterday afternoon. Took down the glass shower doors, bought all new stuff (rubber ducky theme), painted, put up border, cleaned. It's a beautiful bathroom now and the kids are actually using it.
Also took a dip in the pool with the kids and then watched Peter Pan on dvd. Good times.
Today we're doing surgery on John's pc. Bought two new hard drives, a new dvd+r+rw drive, and will be installing those and reformatting the beast, so we'll be without internet at least part of the day today, if not longer. I'm not complaining. I'd much rather upgrade & fix than buy a new machine. We're down to 3 computers now. Gave the oldest one to the preschool, where they're reformatting and will give to a good home.

You had a great day to be in the Buckeye state!! Today should be even nicer. The Cleveland Zoo is really nice. I hope you have a chance to go through the Rain Forest...although it's best to visit that in January, when it's about 2 degrees out.
