Good for them for trying to keep it alive. Seems like a race that big would need some serious corporate dollars though.

Seems that I read somewhere (Atlanta maybe) that some regular race was cancelled, but the hard core races showed up and ran the route anyway.

Received my refund the other day so it looks like the Great Race is "officially"a no go, but I do have 2 friends that have run every Great Race(all 26) and plan to be at the starting line anyway,and I've heard many others plan to do the same.
