GAINESVILLE -- Urban Meyer was not even announced as the coach at Florida before some players decided he wasn't the right coach for them.
He met with the team for the first time in a 3:30 meeting before the 4 p.m. news conference.
"It sounds like things are going to change a lot around here," said Mo Mitchell, a departing senior. "I wish the team the best and hope all is well. "He's looking to do a 360. I can't say if it will happen like that."
Mitchell, who was just named to the All-Southeastern Conference first team, even said he was glad he was leaving.
"The way he was talking to me, yeah," he said.
But Mitchell wasn't the only one apparently. Meyer even knew that there would be some players that wouldn't buy into what he had to say in the short meeting.
"He talked about the group of guys that wouldn't accept him and that it would be hard for them to accept," linebacker Brandon Siler said.
Siler was not one of them, as he said he's ready to move on from former coach Ron Zook.

Haven't seen her lately.
But it should be interesting next season when South Carolina puts the hurting on Florida.
