I bought my husband what amounts to a Barcalounger for the time he spends perched on his patootie in front of the computer at home. Heck, best that he didn't ask for on ein the living room. I enforce a strict rule that there are to be no recliners in the living room. Those things are heaps o' ugly-fugly.

A recliner has nothing whatsoever to do with it's appearance. It is a functional piece of furniture. A chair that converts into a reclining position is a gift to us from the (small g) gods.

I love recliners... We have a sectional with 3 of them. Instead of the usual fold out bed, we have two recliners and a consol then one recliner on the other end. It's great for company!
