on my thigh!!
After running relatively hard on the mill yesterday, I laid down with the ice pack (hot/cold wrap around type) directly on my left hip with part of it on my left upper thigh bare skin. Left it on for about 15 mins maybe longer cause it felt good. Normally, I have it on for 5-10. Anyway, when I took it off, I saw about a 3 sq in area of my upper thigh frozen!
It looks red now, but it scared me. Frost bite don't look pretty. My left hip feels ok though.

NEVER, EVER put a cold pack directly on the skin, for just that reason. always put a layer of cloth bwtween the ice-pack and the skin.
my PSA is done. Hope it's not too bad

Sounds like rug burns to me...
(PS: I go along with the cloth over the ice pack suggestion)

I would take up snowshoeing if we get that much snow in the winter. I love the snow!
