Posted: 12/13/03 - 09:31 Post subject: Good morning?
It's going to be one of those days. It's already started off rocky.
I happen to be awake when Hubby is leaving, he mentions (casually) that "You know they didn't do direct deposit yesetrday, right?" WTF!! No, I didn't know that! No, you didn't tell me. I did the online mortgage thing yesterday, plus mailed out bills on Thurs, and lucky for him that things went out in the PM and it may not be a problem, but the mortgage usually posts the day I do it.
So I have to go to the bank. It's mostly his fault, but I usually check the bank account online every payday, so I will take part of the blame. I suppose I should be po'd at the hotel since they are the ones who did their payroll edit and couldn't swing DD...
So I was fit to be tied anyway. Hubby calls me on the nextel at 630, says he left his hotel keys here, can I bring them... Well duh, and it's not a problem because I'm already up and we do things for our spouses, right? He's had a hard couple weeks, not a day off since 11/30 and 18 hour work-days since then, with maybe 4 hours of sleep each night. He's tired, on his last leg, and I'm sympathetic to it.
He's so tired that we're going to go get the tree today without him. I just don't want to have to make him go out tomorrow when you know after the two weeks he's had he'll just want to veg. I cannot blame him. And since I have to go to the BANK (URG!) anyway, we might as well pick up a tree...
There goes studying today, likely, but there's always tomorrow, right?
There's always the plus side. At least he's employed and we get a paycheck. At least I have a car to run things up to him at the hotel, and at least I have money to buy a tree. It could be worse. I'm just tired and my feathers have been ruffled, that's all.
Hope everyone has a good weekend!!!
