I do not remember the saying exactly but "God protects the drunks...."
We had a 22 yof, driving a car alone, speeding and DUI hits a telephone pole, live electric wires down and the pole was hanging just above her vehicle held by other wires. Had the wires broke before we got there, we would have had a fatal accident.
She did not have her seat belt on, and was not hurt at all.
She walked away from the accident (well in handcuffs) with hardly a scratch.
She does not realize how lucky she was tonight.
Her mom does though when we spoke with her.
