Generally if you go somewhere and are willing to pay a bit more, you can get someone that can acutally help you get a new look that is right for you. (Hey... my hair guy moved to St. Louis.. his name is Randy and he was good at that, I don't know much more, but think I can find out if you're interested... I loved loved loved him) If you have bangs, letting them grow out can make a big difference in a look.

I have a short spiky do that pretty much does it's own thing.
As for you, keep the ponytail length since you can do so much with it: wear it down, wear it up, french braid, pony tail, etc. Maybe play with the color. And of course, get ALL the nails done!
