What do you all do with your hair when you get tired of it? I need a new do bad but don't know what.

i was way tired of my last spring so i buzzed it off. it was my man-cut. never had anything so liberating!! now, i want long hair again and i want it NOW.
i hate thinking of new haircuts - the stylists are no help whatsoever in suggesting a new do. they don't want to be the heavy.
what NOT to do---one of those flippy wingy turning upppy at the ears cuts that tons of women are wearing now. they must dip their heads in laquer to hold it that way all day.
sorry, no real suggestions but i have been there and did take radical action. i have also gone wild with the blonde highlighting kits - that's fun for a rainy day too.
what is you hair like now??

I go to the salon and tell them that I want "spunky" hair. Either that or I do my nails, ya' know, to take the focus off my hair.

I've been that route too. I cut off all my hair a few years back. I loved not having to mess with it but It looked horrible. My hair is shoulder length and very straight.

But if your wimmin went around like that all the time would you tire if it?

my wimmin never did do the ponytail for me. and now she has had it whacked off and frosted, which looks very nice. sorry this chrome dome can offer you no styling tips.

very straight hair is to die for now. everyone wants very straight hair. mine is wavy and it sucks.
if you are used to all one length, why not add some "choppy layers" to "frame your face". you know, highlight those cheekbones.
i must say though, if you are used to ponytailing it, adding shorter layers around your face will drive you nuts cuz they just HANG there and can't be pulled back.
i guess it's either "all one length" or "layers".
we need one of those software programs that lets you put different hairstyles on your picture. that would be fubby to do all day.

Hold everything!
You can have both. Just get long layers. It frames your face and lets you still put it up for running or whatever. Even if it's just a little bit of layers on the bottoms, it could be cool. And if you hate it, it's not so dramatically different and also it will grow out soon.
Either that or get a pedicure or fool around with coloring it.

You know, I've been thinking about getting my hair straightened lately. If Chelsea Clinton can get her hair straitght, I bet it would work for mine. It's supposed to last for 6 months - kind like a perm but in reverse. I may just have to work up the nerve............

Have you seen Christy Turlington in the new Ann Taylor catalog and ads? I'm pretty sure she's all over the website too www.anntaylor.com but I love her hair now. Its very very straight and just above her shoulders and sassy!! I would do it if my hair would get that straight. But parts of it are curly, parts are wavy and other parts are very straight...it makes styling my hair interesting anyway!
