It's almost impossible to choke down food even though I really, really want to eat. No appetite and bronchitis/strep throat are draining my energy. Any idea on high nutrient/calorie/easy to digest small meals I can work on until my appetite and energy return? I'm too tired/easily distracted from being sick that it's hard to be on-line a lot, and I have one of my bestest friends/maid of honor to be coming in town next Friday so I want to be well.
SO keeps bringing me my favorite soup but it's obvious I need more of a balanced diet.

Oh, Kristin, yuck, I've been struggling with a cold for over a week now. Soup is your friend when you're sick, it's full of vitamins and is hydrating. Plus it's nice and warm. Also, drink a lot of o.j. Hope you feel better soon.

Boy do I know where you are coming from (see my post below)
My personal prefernce is good ole Campbells Chicken and Rice soup. I add a Tbl spoon or 2 of extra Minute Rice also.
Try also a banana and smear peanut butter on each bite. Potassium good for you as is the salt and protein.
Drink (decaf) green tea.
I also like NAKED Juice. They have all kinds of added vitamins, protein and stuff that you can drink and help you to feel better.
Get well soon.
