Posted: 11/22/02 - 19:14 Post subject: Getting a little nervous about tomorrow
I am scheduled to run in a 30K race tomorrow and I am getting a little nervous about it. I am using it as a training run for my first Marathon on December 15. BUT, I know I will end up turning it into a race for myself. This will be the longest race I have ever run.
I did do an 18 mile run last week so I know I can run the distance but I need to make sure I don't run it to fast. I don't want to burn out before my marathon.

Eric, you have plenty of time to recover in time for your marathon. Just run smart and you'll be fine.

30km, what a cool distance. You'll do fine. If you drink lots, that'll slow you down having to find the port-a-potties

I'm sure I'm too late, but good luck anyway. Can't wait to hear how it went.
