Just remember to take a list of your questions/concerns with you and don't be hesitant to speak up. Head off at the pass anything you think will get in the way of your treatment. And tell her about your past relationships with therapists and what didn't work for you. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

I got really crappy feedback when I checked around about her, though. They said she was a bully and slightly sarcastic!

According to this post you had seen 12 "shrinks" before and for some reason or the other every time they tell you something they are an idiot, you get angry at them and find another. This is going to sound a bit harsh but perhaps maybe you are to blame here. Switching psych. every time one of them tells you some thing you don't like is not going to get you beyond your illness.
You have to want to get better, and sometimes in order to do that you have to take a long look at the person in the mirror, they are the only person that can do that.
