I.WAS.RIGHT. HA!

I do only get 17 miles to the gallon in the Liberty, not 21. Razz The sticker lies I tell ya! LIES!

What's your gas mileage? (and I don't mean how far you can run on one fart)

Advertised on the car was 19/26. I typically get 22 or so, but it's not true stop-and-go city traffic. I've hit 29 on a road trip before.

Some of the worst mileage I've ever gotten was with a bike rack and two bikes on the back, driving in a major rainstorm into a headwind. I think I got 17mpg on that tank.

well....what are you driving?

I just read that even the hybrid statistics are only under ideal conditions.....no running accesories like AC, no passengers, no wind, even speeds, smooth roads, etc, yada yada yada.......

My '97 Dakota with a 3.9 L V6/automatic gets around 17 mpg overall and low 20's on the highway. A far cry from the 11 highway mpg of the old truck.

By my calculations I get about 28mpg from my Corolla (90% highway driving). I can't remember the EPA listed numbers but I think highway was around 33mpg.

I want to switch to a moped.

The Jeep averages 18 to 22; if just in the 'burbs towards the former.

I can get about 64 MPG. (gallon of rice)

I burn about 50 cal/mi cycling. 1 gallon of rice = 3200 calories.
