Anyway, i got a date with the grocery store girl this weekend. Starbucks girl seems interested but is too shy to contact me, so...her loss.

Grocery store girl is aggressive (looks me in the eyes when she speaks, seeks me out when she sees me and i don't see her, etc) so going to call her friday and maybe if she's not working on saturday i'll take her to see the ITU race at Lake Louisa here in town (put on by the national training center). Would be fun to watch the pros kick ass, and give her a taste of my world as i live it.

More updates as they arrive.

I haven't dated in quite a while but wouldn't it be nice to give her a little more notice? I mean, girls need time to decide on an outfit and shoes and all that junk.

thumbs up about the Publix girl!!

I don't like that you are writing off the starbucks girl though.... Are you sure she's shy? I don't think I'm too terribly shy but I'm not about pursuing a guy, even if I am interested....and you did call her mid afternoon for an "early afternoon" date....one more chance or did she do something else?

oh and a big on that. Even if I wasn't working I would normally have plans for Saturday by Friday already.

Hey, plans is plans, washing my hair, getting looped, regardless it would mean I would be not available.

Oh, i wasn't very clear: We already agreed to do something saturday, and we're both too busy to talk to each other until friday.

In other words, Saturday is a go, but we won't get to talk till Friday to figure out exactly what we're going to do.

About the Starbucks girl, we'll see, i do still go and get coffee in the mornings, but she hasn't been there lately. : shrug : Not writing her off completely, but i just don't feel as comfortable talking with her that i do with the grocery store girl.

For instance, when i went to see her on sunday after we didn't connect on saturday, i stuck around for a little while to talk with her, and i did all the talking. i asked her questions and she answered them without embellishing, just gave me the facts. : shrug : if you're not going to try and TELL me something about yourself, i'm not going to try and force it. so yea, that's the 'something else', chemistry just isn't there....yet.
