I knew exactly what I wanted, it was just a matter of going there and paying for it. Suddenly someone else thinks we need a darker wood, 4 legs NOT a pedestal table and a wine rack? We don't even drink wine!! Since when do you mens think you have an opinion that counts anyway?
So after driving all over town today I'm still not any closer to that furniture.

I have a baker's rack with a wine rack below the main shelf. I use it as a bar.
I wish I had decent furniture. That baker's rack is probably the best thing I have and it's something that a friend stored here and forgot about.

I can proudly say I have never, ever gone furniture shopping or even voiced an opinion on what it should look like. My criteria for a couch is that it is long enough and comfortable enough for me to nap on.

Wow how suck is that? Next time you need tires on his car/truck or anything like that you must suggest something completely off the wall and he gets nothing. That'll teach him.

Do you realize how hard that is these days? I haven't sat on a truly comfortable couch in a long, long time. Everything is too concerned with looking good.

I've gone once or twice.
Ha! Mr Aire keeps me classy. I love the old comfy stuff I find in consignment stores that other wimmins make their husbands give away.
It all comes to my house!
Mr Aire and I fell in love with an Italian leather overstuffed chair with a leather ottoman for $100. (One owner, practically new).

Dude, I can sleep on a concrete slab if it's nap time.
