Update and some answers to your questions:
Most important, a big woofin' THANK YOU for all your best wishes and the like! There are very appreciated! I expect this kind of response form the Riff Raff (as from personal experience and your posts for each other), but I will never take it for granted.
Still waiting for the neurologist to call and set up an appointment. All I've had until about fifteen minutes ago was pressure on my left eardrum. No pain, just letting me know it's around. As of a few minutes ago, there is a little pain trying to butt its way into my life. I've yet to need to take the Vicodin.
As we didn't return from the ER til after midnight, and as I had to call doctors, LC ordered me to stay home ("Yes, dear, I see the wisdom in this." translation: I would be nuts not to. ). Buit even though I've been home doesn't mean I'm inactive. I actually did go out and run five plus miles today, and take the car in for servicing (LC didn't go to work 'til a few minutes ago, and was working the phone).
This doesn't have an impact on my running, unless it makes me go faster so I can finish and do something about the pain. The pain comes and goes. I slept sound on Friday night (not much sleep due to driving down to St Louis). Saturday I fell asleep in mid-afternoon for an hour until someone who shall remain nameless (I kept my word, Achey... oops ) called me. Saturday night you know about. Sunday noght, no problems. Yesterday - very bad. And of all the diagnoses I've read, the winner is.... Pffff. Yup the ER's diagnosis is trigeminal neuralgia. I think I saw them in concert when I was in college.
So I still stand and post. And to address Hyper's comment; if my posts ever seem normal, that would be cause for alarm . Thank you one and all again from the bottom of my heart.
