I have a frozen shoulder (right). Today the orthopaedic surgeon gave me a corisone shot in the joint muscle and tomorrow I begin 3x week trips to the physical therapist and the surgeon has already warned me it will be painful getting my shoulder back to normal which may take a few weeks to a few months. However, the frozen shoulder does not affect my running so I'm reasonably happy.
Anyone else had to deal with a frozen shoulder?

is there visible muscular damage on an Xray? do you know how you did this?
i've heard of this but never really knew anyone with it. i think it involves all the rotators seemingly locking up.
have you had any sort of deep tissue massage by a good therapist?
it sounds really painful. hope the PT helps.

A former co-worker had this problem. She had to quit working there, but I think she needed surgery. I hope your situation isn't as serious and that the physical therapy helps you.
