This was my 6th 10k and would hopefully be my first in which I would finish in under an hour. My closest time had been 1:00:32.
Arrived at Franklin race yelled PURPLE HAYES to all bald men until finally during the run someone yelled back. Mr. Green

Mr. Green

All I could think about during the race was a nice hot shower, warm clothes, and stuffing my face. So I hurried up to the finish and beat my goal. 55:58.
PH was waiting at the end. He is now the proud owner of either a new hammer or a new tape measure. thumbs up

The race is for Habitat for Humanity and Home Depot is a major sponsor.

1st place = hammer
2nd place = tape measure
3rd place = paint brush

I've got 2 tape measures and no hammer or paint brush.
