Hello!

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm always looking for new tips on how to make myself a better runner so I'm happy to have found this forum!

I started running in 2002 just to lose weight but fortunately I caught the bug and now it's more than just a tool for weight loss. I was able to complete my first marathon last year and I'm hoping to run my second this fall.

I look forward to chatting with you guys!

Welcome and don't forget to introduce yourself in the RR forum threads so everyone knows you are here.

The scientists that are here are real gentle when it comes to collecting the necessary samples for their genetic testing. Mr. Green

I'm pretty sure I want to run the Marathon in the Parks in Maryland. I was playing around with the idea of entering the Marine Corps Marathon lottery but I think I want to avoid the larger marathons for now.

Welcome on board.

I ran the MCM last year and while it was fun, it is NOT the marathon to run if you do not like large crowds. Luckily there are a lot of other marathons in the VA, Maryland area to choose from. Good luck and keep us posted on how your training is going.
