I would like to point out that my responses and posts are best enjoyed if you look at my avatar and hear ol' JW reading my words.
I like the Duke. I don't know if any of you has seen his biography on The Biography Channel, but the guy was a true patriot. He was known to hold back the tears when speaking about his love for America. His wife said she thinks his death was partially due to a severe depression over the cultural state of the country during the latter years of his life.

True patriot my ass. If he loved his country so much, why did he refuse to fight for it in WW2 like Stewart, Gable, and Fonda?
And I bet his love of the bottle had nothing to do with his depression, either.
