Our son can do it - he's done it before. The pecking order for getting around the computer in our house would be: David, my wife, Max (and as he's no longer with us, this says plenty about...), me.

This has given me the best laugh of the day! Thanks, dear! |
If David knows how to do it, and probably knows what processor he wants (read: what will work with the machine), you guys might check out http://www.newegg.com. That's where our resident computer geek gets all his stuff. Something to think about if you get a new processor is that depending on the capability of it, you may want to invest in a new cooling fan as well. We got the Silent Volcano (nice name, considering the noise it makes I'm glad we didn't get the Loud Volcano) because it can handle cooling the larger processor which generates more heat I guess. (or maybe hubby just said that to get a new fan... it's possible )
Good luck!
And glad I could give you a laugh!
