What eyewear do you prefer?
For me I prefer glasses to contacts...Never like the idea of sticking something directly over your eye...Plus I think it's alot more maintainence.
Sometimes I wish I had the laser though...

I only need glasses when I drive at night and lost mine a few years ago.
I was just talking about getting a new pair the other day...

So you don't drive at night very often?

I wear my contacts 24/7. I only take them out once a month overnight to give the eyes a break, then I put a new pair in.

Glasses, but fortunetly as I got older, my eyes got better and I no longer need them. (supposedly for the computer, but I couldn't even tell you where my specs are or the last time I wore them)
My husband had lasik and is absoulutely thrilled with it.

I like glasses. But then again, my eyesight isn't that bad, so I'm not too impaired when I have to take them off to run. Now every time I run, it's like I've entered my happy fuzzy world. Except I can't really make out faces, so everytime I pass someone I know, they pull me aside later & accuse me of glaring at them. I swear I'm just squinting!!!
When I do wear them, glasses make a great accessory.

Contacts... 10-secs to put them in, 10-secs to take them out. They soak and clean themselves nightly. Costs about $100/yr. Easy, easy, easy.

I wear contacts, but I also like my glasses. I would like the surgery, but admit I'm a little scared about it. What if they screwed up, right? Then I would feel really dumb for not just settling for bad eyesight rather than NO eyesight.

Most of the time I prefer wearing glasses. They're just convenient, non-bothersome, and they look good. But my eyesight is pretty poor, so I have to wear something all the time. Glasses just suck when it comes to running and outdoor activities. I usually end up wearing contacts more often than glasses because of the running. Every 2 weeks or so I take out my contacts and wear glasses until I get motivated to put contacts in again. Sometimes I'll just wear glasses for weeks and not think anything of it.
