With all the excitment here of the "ROYALS" its funny that a week has passed since the "CHIEFS" started training camp.
So what are your thoughts on this upcoming season???
Team on the rise?
Team on the fall
Your team
And just for fun come up with a stadium name (your own) in this the era of corporate naming rights.
Team on the rise?
"Seattle"
Team on the fall
"NY Jets"
Your team
I think the Chiefs will make the playoffs.
And just for fun come up with a stadium name (your own) in this the era of corporate naming rights.

Team on the rise:
San Diego Chargers
Team on the fall:
Oakland Raiders
My Team:
San Diego Chargers...
The chargers should be much better this year. They added a superstar reciever in David Boston. Quarterback Drew Brees will be starting his second season as starter, and head coach Marty Shottenheimer will be in his second season as head coach. The team had the league's worst past defense last year, and drafted four defensive backs, along with signing Kwame Lassiter from the Cardinals to "shore up" that part of the Defense.
Alot is riding on the young defensive backfield, and on Brees to lift the chargers back up and into the playoff race.

Browns should have an incredible offense this year. Shored up an average offensive line, two excellent qb's battling it out for the starting job, a 2nd yr running back (william green) who was very impressive the 2nd half of last season and a top flight receiving corps.
Problem is... they are gonna have to put up a ton of points because they are very young and inexperienced on defense. Three linebackers are in their first or second season. Defensive line that on paper should be great but hasn't been all that impressive on the field and an average group of defensive backs all combine to make an average at best defense.

I really like the Chiefs too. I'm hoping Parcells will improve the cowboys.

My team, The Eagles
Team on the rise, as much as I hate to admit to it, the Cowboys. I think Parcells will make a big impact this year.

My teams: Saints and Broncos
Both will probably get my hopes up by midseason, only to fail to even make the playoffs by the end.
Superbowl Prediction: Arizona over the Bengals
I have already purchased NFL Sunday Ticket, so at least I get to see the whole season unfold.
And in the process, I'll have to defend my FFL title in some other league this year.

my team = Steelers.
their training camp is only 5 minutes from my house. they have a fubby kiddie type thing set up every day where they will time your child running a 50 yd dash--also have a football toss thingy and other steeler/kidlet things. I thinking i'll take little girl down and get her timed.
training camp=
Steelers = too!

Team on the rise? GIANTS
Team on the fall BUCS
Your team GIANTS
Big Blue is going to be one tough team this year. *Offensively, awesome. Defense will be good.
*I never thought I would describe the Giants like that!

Team on the rise? Falcons. (Mike Vick is the real deal. If we can figure a way to keep Coach Reeves from coacing us out of the playoffs... ) Also, the Coyboys will be fun to watch under Parcells.
Team on the fall? Rams. They're done, folks. And Tampa Bay, I hope.
Your team? Falcons.

I can't beat Akern's so I won't even try....
