I've never really put too much thought into it but does the actual arch of the foot naturally benefit runners? I happen to have an amazingly high arch to the extent that I order shoes long so that they will fit height-wise. However, back to the original question: What effect overall does foot arch have on your running ability and are arched feet better/worse then flat feet for a long distance runner?
