Diddy drops the P
P Diddy has changed his name again - to Diddy.
The rapper, previously known as Sean Combs, Puff Daddy, Puffy, and P Diddy, now believes the P in his name alienates his fans.
According to the Mirror he said: "We're going to keep Diddy. The 'P' was getting between me and the fans.
"You have to be close to your fans, you can't be 'too cool for school'. They have to be able to connect with you.
"I was doing a concert and half the crowd were chanting 'P Diddy' and the other half were yelling 'Diddy'. It was confusing."

Either I'm hallucinating from exhaustion (entirely possible I just pet my purse, thinking it was my cat  ) but I thought this happened a year or so ago...
