I get one every year and pay for it myself. I can cover the cost of $25 rather than being out sick for a day and having to use sick hours when my boss lets me use them for vacation or running errands and the such and I don't get sick!

I don't get a flu shot. I did get the flu last year 3 weeks before my marathon.

I'm high risk too so I always get them. Our company used to get them to give us free but not this year, so all I'll pay for is the doctor's visit copay. For me it's worth it, the last time I had the flu before I started getting shots I ended up in the hospital with double pneumonia.
