Well, I just went to my very first Cross Country meet of the 2006 season. Let me tell you it was alot harder than i assumed it would be. But you know what they say about assuming, heh. It started out a cool day but got hotter as it progressed. I hadnt eaten since 5 am that morning so i was starting to get hungry BUT couldnt eat cuz it was almost race time...i think i prolly should've eaten on the bus...ohh well. There were 71 girls running in the girls varsity race. I took 8th WOOT WOOT Mr. Green The race was 2.5 miles long and my time was 16:15. For my first time i was pretty pleased with it....cheerio
