Well today was Race for the Cure here in Phoenix. I finsihed in 36:36. Time wasn't great but the key here was I FINISHED!!! 2 weeks of bronchitis and all.
What was really touching for me was that my mom put my 3 and a half year old with me near the finish line so we were able to cross together. I am hoping that it gets him into running also. The team I train with also has a 3-11 year old clinic. I think it is very young but who knows, maybe he will get really into it.
ramble ramble ramble....
Have a great day folks

Way to go on your first 5k! Careful, they're addictive. That was really neat of your Mom to do. What a great memory for you.
