I ran my first 5k on Saturday, My first race ever. Thanks to many of the encouraging posts and the great information on this forum I felt confident and although I certainly didn't set any land speed records I did manage to run a 38:01:28. I also accomplished my second goal and I wasn't last, close but not last.
