Woke up at 5:30 am drank some water went to sleep, woke up at 6:55 agian drank water, (got into the game), then after that dressed up in sweater, pants, hopped on the stationary bike a little to warm up and then stretch, then off to Krispy Creame to register. 20$ donate to the cancer fund, was fairly cold out plan was to run in a T shirt and shorts, ended up running in a Sweater on Short about 35 degree's out slight breeze.
Relized i forgot my gloves so we drove to Home Depot, got some glove.
Mile 1- 6:35, was a easy pace threw house and areas, passed a guy falling back
Mile 2-6:45 ran threw some side walks passed schools
Mile 3,6:46
mile 4 7:08- is where tragety happened got a side stitch that killed me forced me to stop a little
mile 5; 7:12- still recovering from it gave some power groans to get it out
mile 6- 6:23- gave it alot of effort to bad it didnt ma ke up for my body failure
.24- was a sprint dash average pace 5:45
Wanted a 43:25 for sure, ended up with 42:20, a good race, disappointing but cant evpect good, was on pace for sub 40:30 but bad thing happened, NEXT TIME sub 40:00!!!, I think i did fairly well considering it is my first 10k, my first race, except for the 800m and 1600m races, and only have been running consistant for ~3 weeks so not to bad, considering if i work hard what I should be able to run

Thanks for reading

That's a great time for a first 10k considering you haven't been training all that much... (from what I've seen in your log) Keep plugging away at it and you will see big improvements..Keep it up! thumbs up
