I am still on a bunch of antibiotics/painkillers, but they think they got all of the infection. I go back tomorrow to get the drainage tubes on my foot pulled out and to re-evaluate. I also get to have more fluid taken out to check for infection/healing, but it looks like I'm NOT losing any bones, so far!

I m a little concerned with the new tropical storm coming, however.

I's nice to be home. I'm going to bed.

Here's the best unsympathetic boss line yet.
Me: "Hi, I'm still in the hospital, had surgery for the bone infection, they think they got it all but may have to go back in if the infection comes back"

She: "Oh, that's too bad. I gues you won't be in today. Poor "L" (one of the reservationists) her little boy has the flu and is throwing up everywhere so she is going to be late."

WTF? This woman is unreal.

Maybe spending some time at home in bed will give you the opportunity to have some "bone" on your own terms.

Glad you home, ignore the the boss, she's not thinking of you or your needs OBVIOUSLY if she's trying to lay the guilt trip on you.

Mr. Green

Glad you're back home, Kristin!

I hope L's son gets over the flu. It's not your problem however.

Unfortunately, I am not allowed to do that yet until after the next evaluation tomorrow. Believe me, I asked.
