After 6 months of tireless waiting on the waitlist, I just received an offer from the university residences a spot in one of the dorms. I'm going to discuss this with my parents and if all goes well, I may be moving into rez perhaps later this month! (up to end of April) Also I will be guaranteed housing next year once I move in. Finally an end to 3-4 hours of commuting back and forth from school for 2.5 years! 
Though I'm going to miss mom's homecooked food

I hope it works out for you, living in the dorms was very fun. I made some of my best friends living in my dorm freshman year. 
Plus that commute sounds absolutely horrible....
