Posted: 01/12/03 - 23:53 Post subject: Feelin' crappy (subtitle: weekend in review a bit early)
[whiney rant]Its sunday night but considering the load of crap sitting waiting for me at work, I won't be here all day tomorrow (or the next day...or the day after...) So I thought I'd start this thread now.
I'm thinking, rate your weekend on a level of flulike symptoms? although I can't really think of what a "good" weekend would be....
Me? We'll go ahead and rank this weekend a full blown case of Hepatitis C.
I'm feeling like I have the beginning of the flu, just in time for my half marathon next weekend and classes to begin this week and peak season at work.
Further, it seems in some fit of rage last night I accidentally (if thats possible) dumped my boyfriend. He really found the whole act cute and isn't speaking to me anymore.
I'm freezing, its like 30 here right now.
I have reason to worry for my mom's health.
And what was going to be one of 2 highlights of the weekend, me adopting a kitty, fell through.
The other possible actually went well, I went on my first bike ride of the year yesterday morning. LOVED it, found a great new route. But it was wicked cold And I forgot my brand new very cool basket from my favorite modulator to tie to the handlebars.
If you need me I'll be sulking in the corner.
[/whiney rant]
I hope you all had better weekends?

Sorry Cheryl about your illness. Hope you find a cure soon.
My report-never felt better in my life.
We got 10 loads of wash done and put away (we really got our wash on this weekend). Our basement is about 1/2 organized and will likely be finished up in the next 2 weeks. It was very cluttered and disorganized. Even half done it looks great.
Eagles won on Saturday. Able to run 1 out of 2 days which I had planned to do. Had one real nice nape this weekend and the whole house (except the nurse) took a sleeping nap on Sunday afternoon.

Nape piercing is sooo last year.
Surely, I'm not the only one that thinks that looks like some weird vampire bite.

Sorry to hear about your weekend Cheryl. Hope you feel better soon.
I had a great weekend in the Dells with the boys. Played poker until 3:30 Sat morning, played 6 on 6 football in 10 degree weather for three hours saturday, then grilled out pork tenderloin, brats and scalloped tators. It was tons o' fub.

Rando, I am SOOOO JEALOUS! I love the Dells!
Cheryl, sorry to hear about your crappy weekend. Hopefully that's the last one for a long time! Email me if you feel like ranting some more....
Weekend was uneventful and I am not sure actually where it went. Saturday I did pretty much nothing, a little work around the house, signed up for Netflix and am eagerly awaiting my first batch of DVDs., cooked up a storm, talked to Kristin after her surgery to make sure she was OK, and never made it to the gym. Sunday, had a family do in NJ which was actually kinda boring and left early. More cooking and catching up on emails. Yawn.

Hope you get better 'Pf'...
didn't leave the house much this weekend. My Bucks won two straight Set up my drums, my weight bench, got a new computer and a bunch of other assorted thingies...
Saw Training Day..not bad..not entirely good though either. Strange that Denzel would get the Academy award for that type of portrayal when he's been in so many better performances??
Oh, and the Tequilla Lime Chicken at Applebees rocks my face off...

Sorry Cheryl. Hope you feel better and everything works out for the best.
Let's not discuss my weekend, other than to say thank god for Percocet.

Percocet=1 cool drug, especially if you do not take it often.
