Not sure what month they are in but the Mardi Gras Marathon and Pensacola Marathon are about that time of year...Also, there may be the Mercedes Marathon, I think, in Birmingham...

Myrtle Beach Marathon is in February. Very flat course, inexpensive hotel rooms. There is plenty of water/sports drink on the course.
