I'll that. The entire 'northern KY' area really should be annexed by Ohio.
As usual I can't decide on just one of anything.
Favorite city however is a major tossup. I really can't come up with a favorite. Dublin Ireland might be it though. And I love Louisville and miss it so Austin is great except in the summer (2,000 degrees) and at rush hour (worst traffic I've ever been stuck in), and for big cities, I've always loved Chicago. All that said I need to travel more to form more firm opinions.
Least favorite: maybe Moorehead, KY. Very very depressed area. A lot of the south (the entire state of Alabama frightens me a little), Nacogdoches, TX (the cops are incredibly mean), Memphis (ditto on the cops), Gary, IN (smells horrible as you drive--really quickly--through it). Really (no offense Flarunner) I'm not real impressed with most of Indiana. And Panama City--one word: icky.

C'mon now, you just gotta love the endless corn fields, straight-a$$ roads, and trees that look like sticks in the winter.
Shelf - I was in Appleton in 1991 for the first Fox Cities Marathon. Remember lots of paper mills and bridges and miles of barren country roads. (Hmmm....kinda like Indiana...)
RAS - Yep, Rocket City is flat and boring. Not much of a town either, except for that one big rocket. So what other marathon on that list are you planning on doing?

OMG...I forgot about Gary!!!!
I gotta agree about IN, fla....I've driven through it twice now and except for the Indy area there wasn't a whole lot there to look at. But at least the rest of it didn't smell like Gary!

Um, SO Awesome! I only got to spend about 2 days there so I spent that time basically sprinting around the city trying to see/do everything. I really need to go back, that wasn't enough time!
Are you going to go to any other towns in Ireland? The small towns were really nice too.

Fox cities......it is not written in stone and I have done it before and know that it isn't the greatest course (set a personal worse in 2000)......but I would be the hometown favorite. Just thinking of it as a training run for a December race which I haven't picked yet. The other possibility is Tucson.....but I've heard that it also is incredibly boring.
